Description of formats

JPEG
(Joint Photographic Expert Group Image File)
The raster image format uses a lossy compression process. The output image is a trade-off between storage size and image quality. The image quality degrades less when the compression is 10:1. The higher the compression, the more the image quality is degraded.
EMF
(Enhanced Windows Metafile)
A vector graphic is saved in an improved version of the WMF format. EMF format stores 32-bit RGB image data in a series of records which displays during processed or printers.
EMF is a vector format with the support of bitmap data.
Scaling and getting higher defining outputs is useful for modifying graphics in an image editor and/or printing high-quality images.
Vector
Vector graphics is a format for representing images where graphical objects are described using geometric shapes such as lines, curves, and polygons, along with their properties like color and line thickness. Vector images can be scaled without loss of quality, making them ideal for creating logos, illustrations, and diagrams. This format is commonly used in graphic design, computer-aided design (CAD), and visualization.
